Bluegrass Futbol Academy Brings New Soccer Opportunities to the Mountains
Organizers are working to bring new soccer opportunities to youth athletes across the mountains with the launch of the Bluegrass Futbol Academy. According to Kayla VanHoose, owner and founder of the newly established academy, the idea for Bluegrass Futbol Academy grew out of the continued success of Bluegrass Volleyball Academy, which was founded in 2018. Child porn trial delayed again while defendant weighs plea deal
PIKEVILLE, Ky. — A Pike County woman’s trial on federal child porn charges has been postponed for a sixth time, after her attorney requested additional time to work out a plea agreement. Pamela Denise Sargent, 45, of Kimper, is charged with four counts of producing child pornography.The charges are punishable by 15-to-30 years in prison. The case began with a child porn investigation in Missouri, where a Park Hills man was arrested for possessing and promoting child porn and sexual exploitation of a minor. Creditor seeks to freeze Addiction Recovery Care’s finances
NEW YORK — A structured financing and investment firm is seeking to freeze the assets of Addiction Recovery Care, claiming the company has defaulted on its obligations to turn over tax receivables, violating a temporary restraining order in attempts to keep the money. Angelica Capital Trust filed a petition with the Manhattan federal court Jan. 12, seeking to freeze ARC’s assets while arbitration over the disputed funds played out.
