Floyd man arrested for first-degree arson
PRESTONSBURG, Ky. — A Floyd County man has been arrested on a charge of arson. Evan Coleman, 29, of Allen, was arrested Wednesday for an incident that allegedly took place Jan. 22. The arrest warrant accuses him of setting fire to a building, when he knew that a family was inside. First-degree arson is punishable by a sentence of 20 years-to-life in prison. Coleman is scheduled to appear in court next Wednesday for his arraignment and preliminary hearing.

Judge orders bank-level freeze on segregated ARC account
MANHATTAN — A federal judge has now tightened the freeze on the bulk of Addiction Recovery Care’s cash, following a contempt hearing Thursday in New York. The dispute centers on Angelica Capital Trust’s advance of $5.4 million to ARC back in November, with the agreement that ARC would turn over an $8.1 million in tax refunds from Employee Retention Credits as repayment. However, Angelica says ARC kept and spent the money instead, defaulting on the loan. ARC has not disputed that it owes the money. Marshall Women’s Basketball Drops Heartbreaker to Troy, 85-82
