NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Otega Oweh had 21 points as Kentucky held off Missouri 78-72 on Thursday in the second round of the 2026 Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament. Court records detail child porn plea deal
LONDON, Ky. — A signed copy of the plea agreement in a Pike County woman’s child porn case details the charges to which she will be pleading and what she is admitting. Pamela Denise Sargent, 45, of Kimper, is charged with four counts of producing child pornography. As reported on Wednesday, she has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors. A copy of her signed plea agreement indicates she will plead guilty to two of the charges in exchange for the other two being dropped. Police investigating death of Floyd woman
HUEYSVILLE, Ky. – Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found along a railroad in Floyd County earlier this month. Kentucky State Police Post 9 in Pikeville received a call from Prestonsburg 911 on Saturday, March 7, regarding an unresponsive woman at Hueysville. Officers responding to the scene near Mulberry Lane found the body of Trishanna “Nikki” Nicole Anderson Duncan, 32, of Garrett, near railroad tracks. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Floyd County Coroner’s Office. Her body has been transported to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
